“One who deceives will always find those who allow themselves to be deceived.”
Niccolo Machiavelli

A world full of sheep,
A world full of clones,
Homogenised and sanitised
Right through to our bones.
No free opinions,
Only government schooling,
We think we’re progressive,
But who the hell are we fooling?

Will Scribe Sheep Herded 1Like members of a cult,
Like religious obsessives,
Thought patterns controlled
By fresh government directives;
Unable to see
Past the nose on our face
Of what’s happening around us,
Of what’s taking place.

The threats keep us frightened,
Make us ultra-concerned;
Unable to think straight,
Apply the knowledge we’ve learned;
Confessing to a crime
That has not been committed,
Not curious about the evidence,
Conveniently omitted.

Skeptics at the forefront
Of freedom’s defence,
Not brow beaten by propaganda,
Retaining their common sense;
An army of free thinkers,
Growing day after day,
Challenging the new world order
And its totalitarian way.

We succumb to pretence,
And how fear and ignorance
Defeats common sense…..”

Old Writer Read More 01One Day as a Tiger

“Better one day as a tiger
Than a hundred years as a sheep;
A promise I made myself
That I try keep.
True to myself,
Not following the crowd;
An independence of thought,
Of which I am proud…..”
